The Law shall enter into force on the date of publication in the Official Gazette. You may reach the original text of the law <a href=\"https:\/\/www.resmigazete.gov.tr\/eskiler\/2020\/04\/20200417-2.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"_04xlpA direction-ltr align-justify para-style-body\"><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">The Law has made numerous changes in the current legislation in order to minimize the effects of COVID-19 on economic and social life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"_04xlpA direction-ltr align-justify para-style-body\"><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">The Law has regulated the following topics;<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">The limitation of dividend distribution of companies,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">The postponement of the general assembly meetings of institutions such as The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Associations, cooperatives and agricultural producers union,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">A ban on the\u00a0termination of employment contracts for three months,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">The allowance of unpaid leave for workers,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">The providing of wage support to workers who are on unpaid leave during the prohibition of termination period,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">The formation of\u00a0collective labor\u00a0agreements, resolution of collective labor disputes and extension of strike and lockout periods for three months,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">The returning of excessive and improper short-time work payments with interest,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">The audit reports of Turkey Wealth\u00a0Fund Management Inc. (&#8220;<\/span><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">TWFM&#8221;<\/span><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">) and other companies set\u00a0to be established by TWFM to be\u00a0presented in September;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">The expansion of exemptions granted towards TWFM.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">The non-collection of annual announcement, advertising and environmental cleaning taxes of businesses whose activities have\u00a0stopped or cannot be\u00a0operated during periods where activity has ceased.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">The postponement of debts regarding water bills for residences and workplaces whose activities has ceased, for three months by the Municipalities,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">The supporting of public transportation activities for three months by the Municipalities,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">The postponement, non collection or the restructuring of\u00a0some receivables of the Administration,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">The restructuring of The Turkish Electricity Distribution Corporation&#8217;s (&#8220;<\/span><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">TEDA\u015e&#8221;<\/span><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">) receivables arising out of\u00a0electricity consumption,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">The postponement of credit debts of the Agricultural Sales Cooperative, Extending the validity period of licenses granted under the Agricultural Products Licensed Warehousing Law,\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">The extension of the duration of merchant ships&#8217;
